Learn about this great culminating fun activity to use near the end of the school year. Students are tasked with raising $100 for a pretend trip to Disney World. How? They plant a garden and reap the profits, Each season they must plan their seed choices, returns, profits, budgeting, etc. Andrea will explain the activity and share resources.

Have you ever thought about trying a problem based activity with your students. Stacy will walk us through Project Based Learning (PBL) sharing numerous resources and examples of PBL ideas and how you can get started. PBL is the example of true integration and cross curricular learning, covering numerous 21st Century Skills and applications. If time we will brainstorm ideas for a PBL activity.

Bring student narrative writing to life with this virtual reality website and app. Students turn their story into scenes in CoSpaces. Then, they create their own virtual reality headsets, slide iPads into them, and walk around in each other's worlds, listening to each other's stories. Move students beyond their world into opportunities to create new.
